This calculator evaluates the following Clinical Criteria:

• Sex
• Paralysis, paresis or recent orthopedic casting of lower extremity
• Bed confined > 3 days
• Unilateral lower limb enlargement (3 cm circumferance more than contralateral)
• Unilateral lower limb pain
• Alternative diagnosis more likely than DVT (Baker's cyst, cellulitis, muscle damage, SVT, post phlebitic syndrome, ingunal lymphadenopathy, external venous compression)
